It starts on the Matukituki River with an adrenaline-pumping jet boat ride through braided channels and famous spins. Then things go next-level: deep in the mountains, a helicopter is waiting riverside.

Your 25-minute scenic flight soars over hanging valleys, waterfalls and ancient icefields toward the Isobel or Tyndall Glacier. If conditions allow, you'll land on snow or ice — step out, take it in, and snap the photo of your trip. Back on the ground, a peaceful wilderness walk and one more thrilling river run round out the day.
